This koha is given in the names of our three tamariki from Wairoa growing up in Mohaka — a small gesture toward a future where they know who they are, where they stand, and the whenua that holds them. Land back is for them, and all those to come — so they grow up not asking for a place in this world, but standing firmly in the one that was always theirs. Aroha to those who are carrying this kaupapa on their shoulders and in their hearts.
